2. MANAGMENET AND ACADEMIC AND TECHNICAL BODIES OF THE FACULTY

The Dean of the Faculty

The Faculty Dean manages the work of the Faculty, guides its activities and operation in accordance with the Law on University and the Statute of the University in East Sarajevo, monitors of compliance with the Constitution and laws and their structure implementation, represents and speaks on behalf of the Faculty with other natural and legal persons, continuously takes care of the study, scientific and research processes at the Faculty, supervises strict execution of the Faculty bodies decisions, directs the Faculty financial funds and makes decisions and issues orders for the Faculty financial operations.
The Dean’s tutorials and reception hours for visitors and other people concerned is from 13 to 15 am working days, unless officially absent.

Associate dean

He replaces the Dean in dean’s absence and carries out duties and tasks assigned to him/her within the Faculty and the surroundings into which the Faculty is involved by its nature and function..


The Faculty Scientific Teaching Council


The Faculty Scientific Teaching Council is an expert body that:

- Makes and adopts the curricula for studies at all levels;
- Makes decisions on organization of specialist and master postgraduate studies;
- Makes decisions on other kinds of academic education and advanced training;
- Adopts programs and projects for scientific-research work;
- Approves of titles of specialist, master theses and doctoral dissertations;
- Passes the Rules of procedure for its work and Rulebooks for work of other Faculty organizational units;
- Proposes to the RS Government the number of the students for enrollment into the first study year;
- Sets forth the criteria and manners of payment for undergraduate and postgraduate studies fees.


The Faculty Scientific Teaching Council consists of all Faculty teaching stuff and required number of representatives of students in accordance with the Law on University in East Sarajevo.
